Botulinum toxin injections

Botulinum toxin is among the options considered for selected neurological conditions and chronic migraine.

For spasticity

Assessment considers the muscles involved, functional goals and other possible treatments. Injections are planned based on that assessment.

For chronic migraine

Botulinum toxin may be considered after reviewing the headache pattern and treatments already tried. Eligibility and treatment details are discussed during the consultation.

Consultation referral

Send a referral

A physician referral is required. The referring physician can complete the form and fax it to 514 558-8775.

After the referral is received, it is reviewed. If a consultation can be offered, the patient will be contacted about next steps.
